Almond Cookie Recipe

Recipe Ingredients:
3/4 cup finely chopped <a href="/nuts/almonds/raw-no-shell.html">Almonds</a>
1/4 tsp salt
1 1/2 cup confectioners sugar
1 cup softened butter
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp almond extract
1 3/4 cups sifted flour

Cooking Directions:
1.  Cream butter; gradually beat in 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar.

2.  Add 1 teaspoon vanilla, the flour, almonds, and salt. Blend well. Chill.

3.  Place cookies on baking sheets and bake at 300 for 15-20 minutes or until light golden brown.

4.  Combine 1 cup confectioners' sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Roll warm cookies in confectioners' sugar mixture. Makes about 5 to 6 dozen nut crescent cookies.
