Mahalo for the 1 pound Raw Hazelnut nuts i made Hazelnut Brittle with the raw Hazelnut nuts i hardly find raw Hazelnut nuts at the food market I'm glad you have always fresh Hazelnuts on hand in hawaii you hardly find fresh Hazelnuts its pre packaged not in bulk so it sells out fast and usually have to wait several weeks before the next shipment. The Hazelnut is a family snack time favorite. We can go through a 5 lbs bag in a really short amount of time. On occasion you will a bad nut but not near as offend as when I purchase them at the local grocery store.

Blanched hazelnuts are to find. And fresh ones even harder. I used to limit my use to Christmas cookies, but now I find that they add a wonderful flavor to salads middle eastern dishes.

My Squirrels Love them

They weren't fresh tasting, they were disappointing- Instead I would recommend getting the pistachios, walnuts, pecans or peanuts instead.
