Well, I don't love it buy my 28 year old parrot does. He's been getting a scoop of hemp in his bowl every morning since he was weaned. I think he'd go crazy if he didn't get his hemp. It's sort of like crack for birds.

I buy these for my birds on a regular basis. I have a Timneh Grey and they need plenty of essential fatty acids. After doing research, these are the best source of complete protein and bird breeders have used hemp seeds for years before there was commercial food. These are the best hemp seeds I have ever tasted! I really don't care for hemp products myself, but I could eat these on a salad. They are actually good and tasty and very fresh. I am glad to treat my babies to something so nice and will probably make this a regular monthly order for them.

I really love the hemp seeds. I have noticed a change in energy and menopause symptoms since starting to eat them this year. We ran out and I have gotten into a slump energy wise since. No hot flashes yet. I am glad we got more and they came today. We have been out for a week or more now.

Great snack! I eat it in the morning and put it in most of my meals. It makes me feel energetic and somehow more focused as well. I just feel better after adding hemp seeds to my diet and the toasting process makes them easy to chew.

So my secret morning gruel is 3 tablespoons of hemp seeds, added to a single serving greek yogurt container, pit this all in a bowl and add a freshly cooked 1/4 cup of oatmeal. Has more protien than most breakfasts and keeps me going snack free until lunch.
