This review of the Organic Tumeric Powder I buy in 5# bags from Nuts.com is a 4 star positive one. But, I do not use the product as probably most, if not likely all, who also have bought the same product. My alternate use, is not in cooking in any way. Instead I use the Tumeric as a food additive to elderly equine, of which I have 3. One gelding is 31, another is 21, and finally a mule who’s an underdetermined age (he’s likely older then both the horses). Tumeric also has a natural non-steroidal effect when ingested. That’s precisely why I’m using it to ease the aches and pains of my elderly equine. By the way, Tumeric works as I expected. Plus I kinda now believe all 3 of the equine like the Tumeric taste, in addition to getting a slight orange colored nose when eating their grain from their feeding bowls with the Tumeric mixed into the grain! As for the 4 stars and not 5, well each 5# bag is $60, and I buy one about every 2 months!
