Recipe for Organic Harmony Soup
For a vegetarian version of this recipe, swap out the chicken for two quarts vegetable broth to one-quart water. Ingredients: Two cups organic soup blend, three-pound whole chicken, three quarts water, one tbsp dry savory leaves, 1/2 tsp black pepper, 1 1/2 tsp garlic salt, one cup fresh diced carrots, one cup fresh chopped onion, one cup fresh diced celery, up to two tsp salt to taste, 1/2 tsp turmeric.
Directions: Soak the soup blend overnight in 1 quart of water in the refrigerator. Drain and discard water. In a six-quart pot, place chicken, water, and pre-soaked soup blend. Add garlic salt, turmeric, black pepper, savory leaves, and salt to taste. Cook for one hour or until the chicken is tender. Remove the chicken so it can cool. Add the carrots, celery, and onions. Cook for 20 minutes while you de-bone the chicken. Add the chicken meat and bring mixture to boil. Remove and serve.
