Apricot kernels (also known as apricot seeds) are the small seeds found inside the pit of an apricot. They resemble almonds and have a mild and slightly sweet taste. These organic raw sweet apricot kernels are harvested apricots grown without pesticides or chemicals.
These are not the bitter apricot kernels, although each batch may contain a few bitter-tasting kernels. Sweet apricot kernels contain significantly lower levels of amygdalin than bitter apricot kernels.
Our Registered Dietitian’s Top Pick
Our Registered Dietitian and Health Nut likes organic sweet apricot kernels to add to trail mix, ground up to add to oatmeal or quick bread. They add a boost of B-vitamins, vitamin C and vitamin A.

I started eating apricot kernels after reading in the TTAC book "Cancer--Think Outside the Box" in which the authors report on the Hunzakuts of N. Pakistan who never have cancer; they have water high in cesium and also eat apricot kernels (high in b12)!
