When I got my 2 cases of my hazelnuts yesterday, both cases were slippery with a soappy smell . What happened ?

So handy, without the skins!

I added a splash of this oil to the hazelnuts tropfen I made. It made a remarkable subtle difference in the flavor….everyone loved the cookies!

I love raw hazelnuts / filberts. You can’t eat just one. They taste great!

Certain percentage of the hazelnuts are moldy inside. We've bought 5-pound bags a few times now and it seemed around 10% were bad every time. If it goes above that in future, we will stop buying from nuts.com

I did not know that hazelnuts were so dry. I got them dark chocolate coded before and they were not dry that way. But they still taste good.
