I applied to skin and a while later noticed a rank odor. Not sure why that happened to the scent because when first applied, smelled great like chocolate. So, I just washed it off. I guess I should only use it for cooking.

Only draw back was hard to measure.

Your folks suggested this in place of the Cocoa Tea that I found in Dominican Republic. I have not quite mastered this but it is pretty darn close. It is good cold in the mornings!

Rich, with so much cacao butter in it that it has little clulmps that melt away with hot water. True raw cacao has been fermented, and this one has a slight flavor that I noticed initially, but still results in a rich, high magnesium beverage, whether made vegan style or with milk, or my favorite, heavy cream, raw honey and a good dash of Ceylon cinnamon for a synergistic trace of zinc.

Don’t buy if you’re looking for something sweet. These are great sprinkled on various other things though.

My husband and I love a cup of hot cocoa sweetened with coconut sugar and honey. We buy our cocoa from Nuts.com every time we need more. We buy in bulk and it lasts a long time. I love that it has a lot of antioxidants. This powdered organic cocoa has a rich flavor and tastes great!

I wasn't sure what I would think of this - but I can see I'll be putting it in many things. I make cold brewed coffee and put some in as it brews with a touch of red pepper - coffee gets a great flavor and slight kick, needs no sugar! Can't wait to try this in cooking ...

Still not sure what I think of these - but they are sort of addictive even still. The first jolt is almost 'medicinal' but then as you chew you get a sort of lingering wonderful chocolate flavor that sticks around for a while. I think they are something that grows on you over time - so worth a little time investment to get there!

Great with yogurt, your yummy nuts, and fruit, makes for a crunchy protein shake, and just plain good to have around.

This just picks me up throughout the day. I replaced coffee with this and am enjoying that cup of cocoa in the morning.

These are definitely NOT Great Tasting, as described in you description of the product. Also, a sampler package would be a great idea to find out what they are like.

I like to mix these into my yogurt for a little crunch. They taste better than most cacao nibs I have bought.

I grind these up with my coffee beans and cinnamon sticks to make a really good and healthy flavored coffee..

First time buying cacao nibs. I sprinkle a little in with some ground-up pumpkin seeds and sunflower seed butter. A little goes a long way.

Have only tried it once so far. Tasted good. Looking for a good hot chocolate receipt for it too. I’m adding it to shakes.

Perfect. Chocolaty, smooth texture, very rich. Works perfectly in chocolate-izing those foods, without the added sugar. Add to plain yogurt, with a touch of sucralose for yummy sugar free chocolate yogurt.

I love raw cacao powder to mix into things. This was a nice size package for the money.

A main ingredient of my fat bombs: 150 grams per batch. Helps them keep firm; they don't need to be frozen but still refrigerated to keep from becoming just a thick soup in the warmth of the day. The health benefits of the cacao are major contributor to the healthiness of the fat bomb.

I sprinkle these on the top of my fat bombs for a little more crunch plus the added health benefits from the cacao.

This is an absolutely great product. My son is the "health keeper" around here. He puts this cacao powder in one of our daily protein drinks and it tastes absolutely delicious. Because this is such a pure product, there is every reason to use it in any chocolate recipe you want. Joan

We miss this Cacao Nibs very much. I took only I lbs with me during these almost 5 months for not being in the US. I tried to use just a little portion for our breakfast. Now that we are back. I don't have to worry about it anymore. I can reorder any time.:-)

I can’t find this locally. I consistently buy this powder through Nuts.com because it is always fresh and delicious - the best I’ve found. I also love the nuttiness of the family and their marketing. Great product, great company.

I love that this cacao is truly raw! I use it in everything from smoothies to hot cocoa to clean-eating baked goods. High quality and so good!

Not what I expected.. a bit bitter for me

I melt this down and use it to polish my polycarbonate moulds, and also will measure and toss some in the tempering machine with chocolate to lower the viscosity.

Crunchy and not too hard, like some I have bought from other places.

I must say at first I tried them by themselves and wasn't much of a fan, but I know they are so good for you. So, I sprinkled them on my salad and what a difference! They add a nice crunch!!! I let the family try them by themselves and they didn't like them and I didn't tell them my new found secret of adding them to the salad so I am being a little selfish Ha Ha!!!

I bought two packs first time (bought one for my daughter) and it is excellent quality. Did my homework on the internet and checked reviews about different companies that sells Cacao Nibs and Nuts.com was highly recommended. All the other companies had reviews to be careful from residue of shells and with Nuts.com the reviews were superb so i decided to try. It was very accurate. Quality is top quality so I bout my third pack which arrived yesterday. Of course I decided to try their dark chocolate covered nuts, orange peel, cherries and a few other items. Again quality of everything is so fresh, packaging is so unique and well thought of. This brand is rocking and I am so impressed.

A bit 'chunky' for one with so few teeth yet their medicinal benefits are worth the wait as they soften and appreciate 'sublingual' access to my bloodstream. Better than cocoa 'bars' and healthier for me to 'nibble' (vs binge?).
