First, I'm very picky with my black licorice. Typically, I don't want anise flavored licorice. I tried these twists because licorice root was listed as first ingredient, anise oil as second or third. These twists are pretty good, but the anise flavor is still too prevalent for me. That's just me, though. Someone else will love them. No bad reflection on Nuts.com - I LOVE this company.
