Young Hyson Tea

Hyson is a Chinese green tea that comes to you as twisted leaves that are long, thin and unfurl slowly to offer a fragrant and somewhat astringent green taste. (Think dry wine.)
Hyson (pronounced hi-tshun in Chinese) was named for an English tea merchant, but amusingly, it means “flourishing spring” in Chinese - and indeed, this tea is picked before the rainy season to embody the warm, sunny, fresh green character you would expect from a springtime experience!

Repeat order on this tea. If you know the value of drinking green tea (antioxidants, etc), this is a good choice. Nice taste.THOMAS, ASBURY PARK, NJ

Such interesting products nuts.com has. The service is fantastic, delivery is very quick and their products are fresh. They have so many organic treats at your finger tips. I'm so glad I found nuts.com. They even have my favorite loose leaf green tea. You gotta give them a try!!Frank N. Bova, Brooklyn, NY
