Organic Sprouted Black Beans
Organic Sprouted Black Beans are delicious, filling and easy to prep! Small in size but mighty in nutrients, these sprouted beans pack nearly a days worth of tummy-filling fiber and immune-boosting antioxidants that are easier to absorb than conventional black beans. Make them into a meatless main in a savory stack of black bean burgers or mix them into a spicy homemade salsa for a savory snack!
How to Cook Organic Sprouted Black Beans
Prior to cooking the beans, soak them in water overnight. Drain prior to cooking. Transfer the beans to a cooking pot and cover them with about an inch of water. Bring them to a boil over high heat, and then reduce the heat to a simmer. Cook the beans for one hour, at which point you can check to see if they’re done. Cook until tender, yet firm.
Sprouted Foods in a Nutshell
New to sprouted foods? Let us plant the seed for ya! In fact, each little granule of this product started out as seeds; think tree nuts, grains or legumes. Unlike the standard seed growing process, sprouted seeds are germinated, which means they’re soaked and rinsed until they grow small tail-like ends. At that point, enzymes within the plant are activated and the sprouted seed reaches its full nutrient potential; meaning it contains more fiber, protein and nutrients than unsprouted plants.
