From spicy Mexican dishes to sweet Southern sides, our Organic Sprouted Pinto Beans are as tasty and filling as they are easy-to-use. Sprouted for double the protein, iron and potassium than their unsprouted siblings, these magic beans make an energizing and filling pantry pick. Try them in a hearty vegetarian chili, a loaded taco salad or savory bean dip.
How to Cook Organic Sprouted Pinto Beans
Soak the beans overnight to reduce cooking time. Drain and transfer them to a large cooking pot. Cover the beans with an inch of water and bring them to a boil over medium-high heat. Once the beans have reached a boil, reduce the heat to low and let simmer. The lid can be removed for firm beans, or left ajar for a softer consistency. Let the beans cook for about an hour, and then check for desired doneness.
Sprouted Foods in a Nutshell
New to sprouted foods? Let us plant the seed for ya! In fact, each little granule of this product started out as seeds; think tree nuts, grains or legumes. Unlike the standard seed growing process, sprouted seeds are germinated, which means they’re soaked and rinsed until they grow small tail-like ends. At that point, enzymes within the plant are activated and the sprouted seed reaches its full nutrient potential; meaning it contains more fiber, protein and nutrients than unsprouted plants.
Why Shout For Sprouts:

- Packed with easy-to-absorb vitamins, minerals and antioxidants

- Great for snacking, cooking and baking
