The beautiful yellow and amber colored fenugreek seed (also known as methi seeds) is commonly used in the preparation of pickles, curry powder and pastes, and many South Asian dishes. Fenugreek seeds have a slightly bitter taste similar to celery, maple syrup or burnt sugar.
