KAMUT® brand wheat is absolutely delicious and very nutritious ancient grain. A member of the wheat family, KAMUT® brand wheat is considered the “high energy grain” because it contains 40% more protein than the national average for wheat. As this grain hasn’t been altered by modern plant breeders, it retains its ancient nutrition, flavor and goodness. It contains elevated levels of vitamin E, thiamin, riboflavin, phosphorus, magnesium, zinc, copper and complex carbohydrates. KAMUT® brand wheat is excellent in cereals, baked goods, or as a whole grain side dish.
This long grain is best cooked in a slow cooker similar to rice and must be simmered for up to one hour.
How to Cook Kamut® Brand Wheat
Soak one cup KAMUT® in water overnight. To cook, add three cups water and bring it to a boil, add a pinch of salt, turn the heat to low and simmer for 40-45 minutes or until tender.
KAMUT® Brand Wheat Storage
Store KAMUT® brand wheat in sealed plastic and glass containers in a cool, dry location such as a kitchen cabinet away from the heat of a stove or oven. KAMUT® brand wheat should keep up to one year if properly stored.

It can be sprouted I do it for my chickens. Rinse 3 times daily just like when you grow alfalfa sprouts or put into a seed starting tray and give it to to them along with the potting soil when 2" tall
