I love having these on hand when I am making hummus and the recipe calls for tahini I just use the sesame seeds and put them in my food processor along with the chickpeas. I also make my own peanut butter balls. I include sesame seeds along with oats, honey, sunflower seeds, raisins, wheat germ, coconut, and flax. I roll them in crushed walnut and wheat germ.

I have purchased these seeds before; because I have Celiac Disease and make all my own breads, these gf seeds are wonderful on the inside and outside of all my breads. Sometimes I take a little dish out into the yard and feed some to the birds so they can enjoy them too.

My hens get a treat in mid afternoon In the morning we start with layer feed next some scratch feed scattered about. When you want a group photo a pile of sesame seeds brings flock in for a photo op.

Wow. That’s a lot of sesame seeds! I love to add them to Asian marinated vegetables prior to roasting. I’m going to see what else I can use these in. I’m used to just buying a little jar at time.

I thought it is toasted & hulled. My fault I didn’t pay attention. Unhulled looks exactly like toasted though.

How to get Chickens to gather for a group photo. Pour half a cup of sesame seeds in a pile. They will gather together.
