The dates were sweet, plump and soft but I have had plumper and softer ones, however I'm suspicious that those were treated by being steamed prior to being sold..yours are probably more natural. I enjoyed them very much.

These are unbelievable! Very moist and large. Guests always comment on how sweet they are.

Went in my Holiday cake as did the Glazed Mixed peel, pecans, Jumbo Flame Raisins. Not your ordinary run of the mill fruit cake, dark, moist & delicious.

Too many of these still had pits in them.

Perfect for baking

Great deal on dates. I do not buy a lot of dates, but I love them. I make a sandwich with cream cheese, slices of apple, sliced dates, alfalfa sprouts and pumpkin seeds are optional. It was made in a sandwich shop near where I used to work. They named their sandwiches for famous people. The Jimmy Carter was peanut butter and bananas, and the Mark Spitz was tuna. So, since this sandwich was unique they named it the Isadora Duncan. I also use dates in cooking and snacking. These are perfect!

just a bit over cooked...if they are ripening on the tree, they were left to long. Too many (more than half) with crystalized hard bits and the dates seemed a little shriveled for first harvest time. Dark, not plump and light... C+,, hey you asked.

Fantastic!! Best dried dates I've ever tasted! These are delicious and versatile. They are great cut into pieces and put in trail mix, snack mix, oatmeal, or any food where a sweet, chewy fruit would work. They are so sweet that they are like eating candy, so 2 or 3 dates will satisfy a sweets craving in a very healthy way. Dates are extremely nutritious and also very high-fiber. These are less sticky and messy than most, but still soft and fresh and sweet. Perfect!! I just ordered two more pounds of them, because they go so fast.
