Gluten Free Corn Grits (Polenta)



Corn Grits make a popular breakfast, especially in the Eastern and Southern states. Also makes a delightful hot cereal served with milk and honey or brown sugar.
Basic Cooking Instructions for Corn Grits
Ingredients
- 3 cups Water
- 1/2 tsp. Salt
- 1 cup Corn Grits
Directions
Bring water and salt to a boil. Add Corn Grits and reduce heat. Cook slowly for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat, cover and let stand for a couple minutes. This will make enough for four generous helpings.
There are approximately 3 1/4 cups per pound.
