Fava Beans (Giant):
Favas are my favorite of all beans. I am happy to say these do not disappoint. Very large indeed, nice and clean. Very "fava" taste. If you grew up with them, like I did - taste of childhood, taste of happy home. The price is as good as the beans.Margaret, Pueblo, CO

Lupini Beans:
These were the nicest looking lupini beans. Didn't have to toss out any before or after soaking. Soaked overnight, boiled for an hour, then changed water daily and added salt to remove bitterness for about 6 days. I even froze several batches after they were cooked. Defrosted them when needed…. Delicious. And I eat the whole bean, shell and all.Sylvia, Phoenix, AZ

Cranberry Beans:
I know this is a useless review, because I haven't cooked them yet. BUT I can say they are dazzling, bright, large beans & I know they're going to live up to the Nuts.Com reputation! I have researched the latest & greatest way to cook beans. Salt the water for the soaking. Soak overnight. Drain them in a colander & rinse. Place in a pot to cook, covering with water and add salt. Toward the end of cooking, add a splash of vinegar. Recommend reading bean cooking at various recipe sites. Like how to avoid cooking for hours & beans are still tough, etc.patricia, Saint Petersburg, FL

Organic Green Split Peas:
Vegan here. Finally I learned a great recipe for green split pea soup. I use liquid smoke for Smokey flavor which is a great addition to this soup. Split green peas are fresh and easy. I rinse and put in slow cooker with water ( or veggie broth, homemade) and liquid smoke. Yummy. And they are ORGANIC. Important to me. Thank you nuts.com.Roberta, Lakeside, CA

The most delicious treat. Soak for 24 hours, boil for one hour. Drain and rinse twice a day for two weeks or until the bitterness is gone. Food of the Roman warriors! Low carb and high fiber. Spit the soft shells out for less fiber.Clinton, Ponce Inlet, FL

They are very tasty and make a delicious soup. They take longer to cook which I think is a good sign; it's worth a few extra minutes of preparation. I make this soup without any meat, so the taste is significant.Carol, Washington, IA

Lupini Beans:
I got extremely sick by not properly preparing. These beans are actually toxic and the company should have indicated such. In fact, I believe the company should not be selling them, period. I actually called poison control only to learn there is no treatment. It was a pretty lousy 24 hours for the toxin to clear my system. I recommend not buying these beans in raw form at all and instead buy them ready to eat.John, Port Republic, NJ
